Question 116 is wrong.
Wrong math for 10 hosts you need a /28 not /29

Question 140 I believe is wrong. I think the right answers would be

  • adds Ethernet control information to network protocol data
  • implements CSMA/CD over legacy shared half-duplex media

Question 56
if we are on the switch and we tape
Interface vlan 1 Ip address 192.168.1.x … that will permit us to manage the switch.

however we are doing ip default-gateway 192.168.1.1 … it’s to allower the switch to send and receive information through the router witch previously the addres 192.168.1

  • 1.  The switch can communicate with other hosts on the 172.16.100.0 network.
  • 2.  The switch can be remotely managed from a host on another network.
  • 3.  The switch is limited to sending and receiving frames to and from the gateway 172.16.100.1.
  • 4.  The switch will have a management interface with the address 172.16.100.1.

please the correct answer is 3 .he switch is limited to sending and receiving frames to and from the gateway 172.16.100.1.

The right answer is 2. On a switch, the setting ip default-gateway x.x.x.x is exactly like the setting form a PC with the default gateway ip. You can have the device without that field but it won’t know which ip in the LAN is the default ip and thus won’t be able to send packets outside the local network.

When you connect remotely from another network to a switch, you can send packets towards it on the SVI ip address, but the switch can’t send back packets because it doesn’t know the default gateway.

As for why option 3 won’t be a right answer, I believe it is because of the “limited to”, which could be interpreted as in “it won’t receive and send packets on the local network anymore”. It also doesn’t sound right, what does it mean “limited to” in the first place?

Question 154 wrong.
MAC has : Frame delimiting, address, error detection. But the answer
places information in the Ethernet frame that identifies which network layer protocol is being encapsulated by the frame

This is for LLC, not for MAC

MAC addresses do not leave there local area network so the host puts the MAC address of its default gateway router. The Modules answer is correct.
