Show Interfaces

Use

This command displays detailed layer 1 information about interfaces on a device, including tracking errors. It is useful for quickly checking the status of the device.

Syntax

Router#show interfaces
OR
Router#show interfaces <interface>

Example

In the below example we use show interfaces to quickly see layer 1 information.

R2#show interfaces
