Show IP DHCP Binding

Use

This command lists the addresses that the DHCP service on a router has assigned.

Syntax

Router#show ip dhcp binding

Example

Show IP DHCP Binding Command on CISCO Router/Switch 1

In the below example we configure R1’s Fa0/0 to use DHCP.

R1(config)#int fa0/0
R1(config-if)#ip address dhcp
R1(config-if)#
*Mar 1 01:39:29.295: %DUAL-5-NBRCHANGE: IP-EIGRP(0) 100: Neighbor 10.1.1.2 (FastEthernet0/0) is down: interface down
R1(config-if)#

Then we verify the lease information with show ip dhcp binding.

R2#show ip dhcp binding
